Product information
AGM batteries are completely closed apart from a small ventilation hole (relief valve). AGM stands for "Absorbed Glass Mat". The glass mat completely absorbs all battery fluid, meaning the electrolyte. Even if the battery stands on its head and if the housing were damaged, battery fluid cannot leak out. AGM batteries may be stored in any position, but may not be charged with the terminals pointing downwards. The batteries can be charged via a normal charger or the alternator. Only very little gas if at all is produced during charging. Refilling with water is not necessary. The self-discharge is less than 3% a month at 25°C. Can be used as a consumer as well as starter battery.Battery deposit notice for Germany: according to the law, we are obligated to charge a deposit of 7.50 € in Germany (incl. VAT) if the consumer does not return a used starter battery at the time of purchasing a new battery. This deposit is refunded when returning a starter battery.
