Autopilots
The autopilot for your boat or yacht takes over whenever you leave the helm. If you are on lakes or at sea with your sailboat, it supports the tiller steering and is coupled to the rudder if necessary. A so-called wheel pilot, which is directly connected to the steering wheel with a sprocket, acts together with an autopilot on the steering cables of an outboard motor and thus keeps the boat exactly on the previously set course.
To ensure that boats, sailboats and yachts stay exactly on course at all times, an autopilot or auto-steering system works with an electronic compass. In addition, the modern equipment is fed with the required GPS data.
Boat autopilots and autopilot systems are easy to install
Each autopilot and autopilot system is made from high quality materials. The metals and plastics used are robust and hard-wearing. As a result, the internal electronics are optimally protected against moisture. The displays for the various indications and settings are usually always double-glazed to prevent the formation of condensation. Every autopilot or wheel pilot can be installed and connected without much effort.
