Vetus AGM batteries are characterised by their innovative technology, which offers maximum safety and efficiency. Thanks to the closed system with a pressure relief valve, these batteries are particularly robust and ideal for use on boats.

Technical features

• AGM technology: "Absorbed Glass Mat" - the electrolyte is completely absorbed in the glass mat.


• Fully sealed: No leakage of battery fluid, even if damaged or stored upside down.


• Flexible storage: Batteries can be stored in any position, except with the poles facing down when charging.


• Low gas generation: Very little or no gas is generated during the charging process, which increases safety.


• Self-discharge: Less than 3% per month at 25°C, which guarantees a long service life.

Versatile application

The Vetus AGM batteries can be used as both consumer and starter batteries, making them a flexible solution for various requirements on board.

Battery deposit

In Germany, it is a legal requirement to charge a deposit of €7.50 including VAT if a used starter battery is not returned when the new battery is purchased. The deposit is refunded when a starter battery is returned
