Yacht Devices Engine Interface YDEG-04N, NMEA 2000® and SeaTalkNG YDEG-04R Gateway for Volvo Penta, Mercury, Yanmar, BRP Rotax and J1939 engines to the NMEA 2000® network. It provides you with data on engine speed, engine hours, coolant temperature, battery charge, warnings and alarms, fuel consumption and other values on the display of a chartplotter. This gateway is compatible with BRP Rotax (tested with Rotax 1503 4-tec can be monitored by one unit engines), SmartCraft (Mercury, MerCruiser),J1939 engines (Caterpillar, Yanma r 4JH, etc.) and most Volvo Penta engines manufactured since 2004 and even some engines manufactured before 2000. Compatible Volvo Penta engines: With all versions of EVC-B, EVC-C, EVC-D, EVC-E (most fuel tank capacity settings and calibration of modern models since 2006) With EVC-A MC (e.g. D3-160A-A) and EVC-A EC (also known as E VCmc and EVCec) 12-point sensors for all tanks. Connections: Engine cable length (to male Deutsch connector): 500 mm The gateway has a male NMEA 2000® Micro or Raymarine SeaTalk NG connector. For most boats with Volvo Penta engines, the only thing you need to do is plug the unit into a T-connector in the NMEA 2000® network backbone and connect the engine cable to a multilink hub. Alternatively, you can use the built-in Y-connector to connect the gateway's motor cable in series with an EVC tachometer. Inexpensive adapter cables for a wide variety of motors are available.
