Vetus Altus foreship hatch Round Altus hatch series with outer dimensions Ø491 mm with a particularly low profile (only 23 mm in height). The ALTUS hatches meet the CE requirements according to the AII classification. This means that the hatches can be used on worldwide voyages and may be mounted anywhere on deck. These hatches are equipped with completely newly developed hinges. Not only do they look particularly attractive, they are also much easier to operate than conventional hinges. The toggles are equipped with a patented locking function and the hatches have a ventilation position where the locking function can also be used. When this locking function is not needed, the hatches can be opened from the outside. The ALTUS hatches also have the well-known excellent VETUS surface treatment: the aluminium has been treated with the latest methods and has a satin finish that is just as easy to clean as the well-known VETUS surfaces. The acrylic glass has a thickness of 10mm. Glass colour is dark smoke.
