This is possible with the Planar diesel parking heater, which will be called Autoterm Air from September 2019. The parking heater is suitable for installation in all kinds of vehicles, so it is also interesting for the marine sector. In a truck or in a boat, the diesel air parking heater offers a comparable level of comfort as in a car. This is partly because this heater is capable of heating up to 75 cubic metres of air in one hour without consuming a lot of energy. Retrofitting is not particularly difficult because the Planar parking heater has the same hole pattern as many heaters from Webasto or Eberspächer. This makes installation much easier.
