Originally developed especially for the Whitbread Round the World Race, the Body Warmer series has been completely revised and consistently further developed based on the latest experiences from the last Volvo Ocean Race. The main task of the Body Warmer is to act as an insulating layer between the skin wear and the breathable oilskin to keep the body warm and dry. The body warmer is an essential component of climate regulation in MUSTO's 3-layer system, by conducting moist air to the outside via the skin wear and keeping body heat close to the body for perfect comfort. An essential piece of equipment for all active sailors on cold days at sea or when crossing the Atlantic.
