Product information
The IC-M94DE from Icom is a marine handheld radio that combines an AIS receiver and a DSC function in one device. The integrated AIS receiver enables vessel traffic information to be shown on the display. At the same time, the DSC function helps to increase safety at sea.

With a transmission power of 6 W, the IC-M94DE offers an impressive communication range. The supplied BP-306 Li-ion battery pack guarantees an operating time of 10 hours under normal conditions and has a capacity of 2400 mAh (typ.).

For clear communication, even in noisy maritime environments, the Icom IC-M94DE has a special high-performance loudspeaker and an AF power of 1500 mW.

The navigation function of the IC-M94DE enables simple route guidance to specified waypoints. Users can set up to 50 favourite fishing spots or destinations as waypoints.

Float'n-Flash and MOB Auto-Set functions: In the event of contact with water, the IC-M94DE floats on the surface and flashes. By pressing the emergency call button in the water, the device automatically sends a man-overboard distress signal.

Other features, such as a built-in GPS receiver, active noise-cancelling technology, IPX7 water resistance (for 30 minutes at a water depth of 1 metre) and an AquaQuake function to prevent sound interference from water in the speaker, make the IC-M94DE a reliable choice for maritime communication.

The scope of delivery includes a BP-306 battery pack, a BC-251 desktop charger, a BC-242 mains adapter, a MB-133 belt clip, an FA-SC59V antenna and a wrist strap. The one-time entry of MMSI and ATIS codes by the user enables personalised use of this robust and functional handheld radio.

ICOM - radios since 1954

Even the DGZRS relies on ICOM handheld and fixed radios. Robust, easy to operate and intuitive are just a few of the keywords that can be used to describe these radios. Even the DSV uses ICOM radios for training and testing purposes, for good reason of course.
