Accurate wind signals are sent directly to a GNX Wind instrument or compatible Garmin GPSMAP® 8400 or GPSMAP 7400 series chartplotter via an ANT® connection, and the transducer features the familiar Nexus® Twin Fin technology with a three-bladed propeller. The result? Accurate wind speed data and stable angle measurement even in light winds. Wind and sail packages (sold separately) are also available that can be used as stand-alone wind systems or upgraded to full network systems via NMEA 2000®.
