On-the-water button operation is simple and convenient, allowing you to stream marine data from compatible devices and instruments. The Garmin is always connected to inReach satellite communications via the Iridium® satellite network with 100% global coverage (satellite subscription required). In addition, the handheld can act as a remote control to conveniently operate a Garmin autopilot or certain FUSION® marine products. BlueChart® g3 charts are optionally supported. In rough seas, a GPS filter smoothes the speed and heading displays.
