Portraits of majestic tall ships: once they carried their cargo across the world's oceans under proudly billowing sails Windjammers, rulers of the deepest oceans. Away from their imposing appearance, they have long been synonymous with seafaring romance. Even though the great age of sailing ships is long gone, their fascination remains unbroken. Year after year, windjammer parades all over the world attract thousands of people who enjoy the sight of the last great blue-water sailing ships, most of which are now in service as training ships.
