Router YDWR-02 SeaTalkNG

The router is an intelligent 4-way NMEA-0183 and SeaTalk 1 multiplexer. It provides data from various marine instruments to a PC or smartphone/tablet. The router has the same features as the YDWN-02, but has four NMEA ports and a SeaTalk1 input. With SeaTalk, several devices are usually networked with each other, the data only have to be fetched once from the SeaTalk network. The router thus also works as a translator from SeaTalk1 to NMEA-0183 to WiFi. The control of a SeaTalk1 autopilot system, which is networked with the instruments, is also possible via NMEA-0183. For the price of a normal multiplexer, you get an absolutely flexible yacht device that can be easily configured via a web browser on a smartphone or tablet. You can adjust the speed of the individual ports, or stop data sets that are not to be sent with a click. The router can even transmit Navtex data and NMEA-0183 data sets without generating a checksum. This technique is called tunnel mode and can be set separately for each port and also for each data provider.
