One Touch Winch Handle

At last - sail-ors have been waiting for this for a long time. A winch handle which can be used perfectly well and safely with one hand. You always have one hand free for trimming the sheet, holding on or some other task. The handle uses a plunger pin-ball mechanism for locking of the type used in the quick-release steering wheels in racing cars. This locking mechanism can be released by hand pressure at any point along the length of the handle. The standard octagon is suitable for all current winches, making it easy to remove and just as easy to reattach to the winch. Length: 250 mm.
