The GALAXY-INFL8 is the world's first inflatable emergency VHF antenna to offer full3dB coverage compared to conventional small spiral designs. It is the only inflatable VHF antenna in the world and is patented for Shakespeare Marine. When required, the radio can be quickly deployed and easily connected to significantly improve transmission range compared to existing emergency antennas.
