Hempel Hard Racing TecCel Antifouling

Hempel Hard Racing TecCel Antifouling is a high-performance antifouling specially developed for demanding boat owners. With its hard matrix, it offers outstanding protection throughout the season and, thanks to the innovative TecCel technology, ensures less friction and higher speed on the water.

Recommended use

Suitable for GRP, wood, plywood and steel boats.

Not suitable for aluminium or other light metals as there is a risk of corrosion.

Ideal for motorboats and racing yachts.

Properties

High mechanical strength for excellent tear resistance.

Excellent colour fastness throughout the season.

Thinner and cleaner

Use Hempel's Thinner 08080 for thinning and cleaning.

Application method

Tool: brush or roller.

Maximum thinning: 5% (keep to an absolute minimum).

Paint over / Leave in water

At 10°C: wait at least 8 hours.

At 20°C: wait at least 4 hours.

At 30°C: wait at least 3 hours.

There is no maximum recoat interval. After prolonged exposure to a polluted atmosphere, accumulated dirt should be washed with (high-pressure) fresh water and then dried.
