General terms & conditions
Ordering - normal delivery service
Once we receive your order, we take care of the items you require. We will usually dispatch the package the next day.
General shipping costs
We charge prorated shipping costs per order.
We charge a surcharge of €3.00 for sending calendars or sea charts and posters in rolls. For bulky goods we calculate an additional shipping charge of €15.00 (for outboard motors and batteries, the fee is €25.00). This service is a special service specified by you. The surcharge will therefore also be payable if you make use of your 14-day right of return.
Battery deposit: We are obliged by German law to charge €7.50 for the sale of each battery. A refund will be given upon return to our branch in Ascheberg or upon receipt of proof of disposal.
Please note: Batteries may not be disposed of with normal household waste. You can return batteries free of charge at the following locations in Germany:
- at public collection points
- anywhere batteries and rechargeable batteries are sold
- our shipping warehouse (by mail)
This regulation also applies if batteries are not sold individually, but are already built into devices (e.g. notebooks or mobile phones).
Electronic devices may not be disposed of with normal household waste. Consumers may also dispose of their old electronic devices at municipal points.
The items in the range are only available in normal household quantities for end-users.
We accept payment by credit card.
How to order
Follow the following steps
- Add your items to the shopping basket
- Login or register
- Enter your delivery and payment details
- Confirm that the information is correct on the confirmation page
- Click on the “Place order” button. You can find the information about the time of the conclusion of the contract in the appropriate section of our General Terms & Conditions.
You submit a binding offer when you complete the online ordering process by entering the information required and clicking the "Place order” button in the last order step.
Once you have placed your order, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and listing the order details (confirmation of receipt).
This confirmation does not represent an acceptance of your offer; it merely serves to inform you that your order has been received. You will receive all the customer information by the time of delivery of the goods at the latest. You should print this information for your records. The purchase contract is concluded only with the shipment of the items you have ordered.
All prices in the online shop are in Euros and include German statutory value-added tax (19% and 7% for books).
Invoices are charged in Euros. The currency converter gives you a benchmark for the currency of your choice. Please note that your credit card provider will use the up-to-date daily Euro exchange rate and the sum you are charged in your chosen currency may therefore vary from the calculation with the currency converter.
