Compass C18 Thin Film Antifouling

Compass C18 Thin Film Antifouling is a highly effective solution for boat owners looking for reliable fouling protection in Northern European waters. Application instructions

Stir the product well before use. The powder is contained in a bag under the plastic lid. After mixing, the mixture should be stirred regularly during processing. The finished mixture can be used for up to seven days if stored with the lid closed.

Backgrounds and application

• GFK/Blankes Gelcoat: Sand lightly, wash off with water and allow to dry. Apply at least 1 coat of Compass Epoxy Primer, followed by 2 coats of C18.


• Steel/lead: Surface must be dry, clean and rust-free. Apply 6 coats of Compass Epoxy for corrosion protection, followed by 2 coats of C18.


• Wood: Surface must be dry, clean and in good condition. Prime with Compass Epoxy Primer and then apply 2 coats of C18.
