40mm / 29 mm Carbo Traveler blocks

Carbo® AirBlocks® are 60% stronger and 30% lighter than our Classic blocks. Use the 40 mm Carbo for jib and mainsheet systems on high performance dinghies and for heavy duty control lines on small keelboats. The nylon resin cheeks are densely packed with long glass fibers, resulting in a compact block with a high strength-to-weight ratio. The sheaves rotate on heavy-duty ball bearings with bearing shells designed for low-friction operation. Ball bearings, disk, and cheeks are UV-stable for maximum protection. High-strength, tilting guide blocks with clamps are used for halyard control on smaller keelboats and as "head knockers" on dinghies and beach cats for direct sheet guidance from the boom. Hole spacing and rivet size are the same as the Classic versions, making it easy to upgrade. The cleat is reversible for upward or downward cleating.
