Delivery

 

With normal delivery we guarantee delivery of items in stock within 28 days of you placing your order, but average delivery time is usually within 7 working days (some heavy goods and items such as outboards and life rafts may take a little longer as they require inspection). We have calculated an average delivery charge of £ 7.50 per order (Channel Islands & Eire: £ 11.00) with an extra charge of £ 13.00 for () heavy goods (for outboard motors and batteries £ 30.00). We are happy to deliver your goods abroad. The freight charge within the EC is £ 11.95 per order. Outside the EC (Malta, Gibraltar…), we will determine the freight cost and inform you before shipping. However there is a handling charge of £ 5.00 per order and we cannot accept orders for under £ 50.00. Unfortunately we cannot refund this extra charge should you wish to return the goods within 14 days. We only charge you postage once per order, even if we send you more than one parcel. When sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us; we strongly recommend that you send it recorded delivery. We welcome comments on any aspect of our service and would be pleased to hear your views on how we're doing!

 

48-Hour-Delivery Service

 

All goods are offered subject to availability. If you call us before 10.30 a.m. with your order, we'll ship it the same day (providing it is in stock) and get it to you within the following two working days. The surcharge per delivery is £ 8.00 (non-refundable if goods are returned or exchanged). Goods marked () are excluded from this service. Not available in Channel Islands, Northern Islands and Highlands of Scotland.

 

Compass delivers "Just-in-Time"

 

Delivered to your wish! Tell us when you want the goods e.g.: next Friday when you are at home or in 4 weeks when you're back from your cruise, and for an extra £ 8.00 we will endeavour to deliver it that day (UK and weekdays only). This extra charge is not refundable should you wish to exchange or return the goods within your allotted 14 days right of return or exchange.

 

Substitute items

 

If it is not possible for us to supply a certain item, we shall immediately inform you that it is not available and refund any payments you have already made. At the same time we shall offer you an equivalent item of the same quality and price (substitute item) without obligation. If you then inform us that you do not want the substitute item we are entitled to cancel the order.

 

Items in the range are only to be sold to end consumers in normal household quantities.

 

Purchase without risk

 

Goods may be returned within 14 days of receipt with no questions asked. You can examine them at your leisure and see if it's how we described it and whether it's what you wanted. Goods should be returned in 'as new' condition along with the original packaging where applicable.

 

We'll refund your money within 28 days, or exchange the item if you prefer. The only exceptions are: embroidered or engraved items; CDs, DVDs, video cassettes, software and books that are no longer sealed, custom-made tracks, sails etc., shore lines, halyards, sheets and hoses cut specially to your measurements and special orders executed at your request.

 

Special Orders

 

We will always endeavour to source any special orders or accessories for you, but please be aware that we may have to charge a separate shipping charge as well as one-off handling charge of £ 8.00.

 

Payment

 

By credit/debit card: State your VISA, EUROCARD, MASTERCARD, DELTA or SWITCH number on the order form. The total cost of articles plus postage and packing will be authorised by your Card Supplier and charged to your account only upon shipment of the goods. By cheque: Enclose a cheque made payable to Compass Watersports Ltd. with your order for the total cost of your purchase including postage and packaging. Remember, we do not charge your credit card until your goods leave our warehouse.

 

Prices

 

All our prices include VAT at the current rate (20 %).

 

What data do we hold?

 

We keep your name and address and a contact telephone number (if you have given it to us) so we have a record of all your purchases. We also record how you paid us (cheque, credit/debit card etc) but only hold credit/debit card numbers long enough to credit your account should you wish to return any goods.
