The conical shape of the partitioned air chambers ensures maximum safety. Even with loss of pressure in one chamber the boat remains buoyant since the pressure difference is balanced. Thanks to the hull design capsizing is virtually impossible. The compact packed size and low weight are important considerations for transportation and stowage on board.
